Last semester I wrote a raytracer program. It was very, very shiny. Specular reflections are really freaking huge pain. Now, I'm finishing off the major by taking networks, which is nowhere near as cool as graphics.  I'm sposta write an FTP client, which is kind of cool, but let's face it- I know enough about the kind of computery stuff I'm going to get a job with to know that I actually don't care about networking.  Ahh, if only artificial intelligence weren't taught by the only teacher who might actually hate me. Tell me, please.  Why is it that I can't seem to do something so simple as make a character fall through the floor without messing up her initial position so badly that she can no longer do her little dancy thing?  It's freaking bizarre, that's what it is. Maya, why do you have to be so confusing?  Tell me, please.  You've eaten three and a half of my projects, and now you're messing with my animation?  GRAHHHH! Now I know why it takes years of training to use this software.  Three months is just enough to tell you that you need to learn a heck of a lot more.
